Also available as part of the short film program Filmforum Shorts: Familial Tales ⸺ After the death of his father, Kurt, filmmaker Karsten Weber rummages through memories: family photos, leaflets, found objects. A look back at a life marked by political activism, especially in protesting nuclear power and rearmament. “He was first environmentalist I knew”, says Weber. Sound recordings from the past, and grainy film images from the present, create a cinematic monument to the deceased.
