Escape from Sweden

Weary of the social isolation she suffers living without official status, the filmmaker’s mother decides to flee Sweden for London. Her son documented the last seven days before her departure and draws a portrait of an imperturbable woman who is prepared to accept a painful separation from her family in the hopes of a better future.
