On their last night of holiday partying, she meets Johan (25) – only to realise on the first day of school that she has kissed her new music teacher. The mutual attraction continues, and when Selma seeks to get close to Johan, he neglects his responsibility as a teacher. They start a forbidden relationship. Selma is delighted by Johan's affection; she feels seen, and she rediscovers her dormant love of music. But keeping things a secret – even from Jas and Birdie – increasingly weighs on her. Selma's story picks up where it left off in the previous film, “Pretty Young Thing”. The wounds she suffered have not yet healed. Selma has to ask herself what really matters in friendship, and whether she meets these standards herself. She must find out whether she wants to be what others see in her – or whether she’s ready to get to know herself.
