Cool Boy

Also available as part of the short film program Shorts 10+: Cracks in the Wall ⸺ Felix (13) walks barefoot through the snow as he takes the bottles for recycling – the ones his mother has emptied. He conceals her alcoholism from the outside world, even from his best friend Anton. In order to cope with what he has to put up with, Felix has developed a thick skin. The question is whether he can let his guard down and accept the human warmth he so desperately yearns for.
