Straight and in a Circle

Also available as part of the short film program Nordic Shorts 3: On the Margins ⸺ “We’re all looking for a home.” In rough, animated drawings, Palina Ramashka visualises the universal longing for security, belonging, and community. She creates a world in which fish can become birds and birds can become fish, a brief moment of a loving utopia in a present that is inundated by natural disasters, war, flight, and displacement.
