A horse of her own, Pia thinks, would be the best, and the girls next door would pay attention to her. But her father can’t afford to fulfil her dream. So Pia makes up Stjerne, a horse that belongs only to her. "Horse Crazy" is about shame, ostracism, and moments in which desire and fantasy merge magically in reality.
