Cold Call

The filmmaker is struggling with heartbreak and writer’s block at an artists’ residence in Eckernförde – until the old phone rings. A call centre voice tells her that the computer is broken. It's a scam, and yet it’s a comforting conversation between strangers in this digitally cross-linked and globally inequitable world.
