Hanna and her daughter Ida are usually a solid team. The young mother is studying for her degree and has part-time work at the tavern around the corner, where she also meets her girlfriends in the evenings. When Ida starts school, their relationship changes and becomes unbalanced. Hanna is forced to realise that her daughter is becoming more independent and going her own way.
