Girls Don’t Breathe

The shy Elena befriends the slightly older Laura and begins, with fascination, to explore her own sexuality. But a meeting with two boys turns into a claustrophobic experience. "Girls Don't Breathe" is a sensitive and disquieting film about female sexual awakening, the pressure of expectations, and the paralysis that occurs when little space remains for self-experience.
