August is neurodivergent, so he is unable to fulfil his greatest desire: to join the military. During Sweden's Preparedness Week, which aims to strengthen the resilience of the nation's population in the face of disasters, he searches for alternatives – and for his place in a society where emergency prepping and the normality of everyday life convene.
